fragments art to wear

Fragments Art to Wear is inspired by both nature and the man-made enviroment. Attention to texture, color, and dimension are reflected in the design and construction of every piece.

Each Fragments creation is unique. No two pieces are alike. Every one is like a small painting or sculpture and all are created with individuality in mind.

Fragments Art to Wear pieces are constructed of polymer clay, a manmade material that is strong, flexible, and amenable to a variety of surface treatments and embellishments.

Fragments Art to Wear is designed by Lisa Wollman Bolick. She is a graphic design instructor at James Sprunt Community College in Kenansville, NC. She has been experimenting with polymer clay since 1996. She is a board member of the Duplin Arts Council and a founding member of the Duplin County Humane Society. She lives in Rose Hill with her husband, three cats, and a Cardigan Welsh Corgi. Her work can be seen in the December issue of art-e-zine in the feature "Play with Clay."
